\u00c5rj\u00e4ng trotting track is an outing for the whole family. Horses and harness racing are more than a sport, they are a lifestyle that has set its stamp on the area over many years. At the track you can enjoy a delicious meal at the restaurant here or bring your own picnic. We promise you an exciting, special and maybe that little bit out of the ordinary day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next door to the \u00c5rj\u00e4ng track is the Nordic Harness Racing Museum, the only one of its kind in northern Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The permanent exhibitions focus on the history of horses and trotting. The museum also includes the Restaurant Travmuseet<\/a> and a well-visited library of trotting literature.
For those interested in horses, there is also a lot to choose from in the museum shop. The museum’s restaurant is well known for its good food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every year\u00c5rj\u00e4ng has a big trotting (and motor) event: H\u00c4STKRAFT (Horsepower). In 2024 it will take place on July 11-13. It’s a fast-paced festival for the whole family. There will be trotting at an elite level, rally car sprint races in central \u00c5rj\u00e4ng and vintage cars in a classic folk park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
