Sommarvik is a 5-star campsite in \u00c5rj\u00e4ng, where everyone in your family will have fun. The site is open all year round and in addition to luxury living, you can also enjoy a broad range of activities. If you are on the move with a campervan or tent, there are 100 campsites and many areas to pitch a tent. All areas are conveniently located and with power points. Sommarvik also has 64 cabins with 3-6 beds and group accommodation for up to 18 people. There is also a store, restaurant, pool bar, outdoor pool, sauna, spa, golf, playgrounds, beach, kids\u2019 club and much more. Sommarvik is conveniently located by V\u00e4stra Silen lake with a child-friendly sandy beach and various water attractions. It also has two outdoor pools, a wood-fired sauna with its own jetty and a spa complex with Jacuzzi and Turkish Baths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Ekeby Camping on Lake V\u00e4stra Silen, you can wind down and find peace and quiet by the woods and water. Ekeby has both camping spaces and cabins to rent. The campsite has numerous facilities, such as beach volleyball court, playground, grass areas, walking trails, obstacle course and sandy beach. If you wish to explore your surroundings, the choice is yours. You could head to Borg\u00e5sberget for example, to see the Borg\u00e5sgubben, a 3.2 metre high stone statue. T\u00f6cksfors camping<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

T\u00f6cksfors Camping och Fritid is a family camping and leisure site at the northern end of Lake Foxen, that is part of the Dalsland Canal system. There are 40 campervan spaces here, including 30 with power points. You also have a choice of nine smaller cabins and five 40 sq m self-catering cottages. The self-catering cottages are also available in autumn and winter. The campsite has a kiosk, marina and outdoor bathing. You can hire electric bikes and SUPs here, join yoga classes on summer sundays and play paddle on their paddle court, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elovsbyn camping<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Elovsbyn Camping is a small site in Lennartsfors by Lake Foxen, which is part of the charming Dalsland Canal system. It is a perfect place for canoe and kayaking. You can buy maps, fishing licences and a Nature Conservation Card in Elvosbyn. A Nature Conservation Card entitles you to use any of the wilderness campsites in the lake system. In addition to canoes and kayaks, you can also hire a tent and camping equipment for paddling excursions. There are also a number of cabins and boats to rent here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sandaholm camping<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Sandaholm Camping & Restaurang is close to Glaskogen Nature Reserve. Sandaholm is a very child-friendly campsite, with long sandy beaches and shallow water, plus plenty of trees and bushes. There are also marked spaces for campervans with associated facilities next to the campsite. Canoes, motorboats and pedaloes are available to hire. For a fika, drink or delicious (hot) food you can visit the restaurant with outdoor terrace you have a beautiful view of Lake J\u00e4rnsj\u00f6n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camp Grinsby is beautifully situated just outside Glaskogen Nature Reserve, close to the beach, Stora B\u00f6r lake, and just 2 km from the E18. The area around the campsite is very much untouched wilderness, with larger and smaller lakes that offer good canoeing and walking opportunities. The marked spaces in the campsite are generous and varied in character. Most spaces have water views. There is also a beautiful headland with a delightful BBQ point that guests can use. You can hire canoes, boats and bikes at the camp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
