Kl\u00e4ssbol<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Kl\u00e4ssbols linen factory is a supplier to the Swedish Royal Family and they also weave cloths and napkins for the Nobel festivities as well as the Swedish embassies all over the World. In the shop, you’ll find towels, napkins, table cloths, and curtains. The factory is open for visitors to look around or book a guided tour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you would like a break to enjoy a fika or a simpler meal visit the cafe \u201cKaffeKvarnen\u201d which is nearby. There is an accessible toilet in both Kaffekvarnen and the factory. Kaffekvarnens ramp is high but the staff is happy to help if needed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kl\u00e4ssbol is located close to Lake Glafsfjorden\u2019s beach and you can take the car down to the harbour. You can also follow the asphalt road from the factory to the harbour for a beautiful stroll through Kl\u00e4ssbol. There is a swimming area next to the harbour, but is not equipped with a jetty or a ramp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rackstad Museum<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Rackstad Museum ties art and handicrafts from throughout Arvikas history together all under the same roof. Sometimes they even have national and even international pieces on display. For current events and exhibits see the website of the museum. The museum is also home to Caf\u00e9 Elis, a cafe with outdoor serving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accessible toilets, lifts, and hearing devices are available. All of the premice are accessible for wheelchair users through lifts, there is a threshold in the entryway and in some of the galleries. Oppstuhage is not accessible for people with disabilities. There is a wheelchair that is available to borrow when you visit the museum, contact the museum in advance to make sure it’s available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arvika Vehicle Museum<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the beautifully restored Thermia foundry from 1923, you’ll find Arvika\u2019s Vehicle Museum where they have everything as far as cars go; veteran cars and motorbikes, mopeds, lightweighters, horse drawn carriages, sleds, and bikes. They also have a cafe and a museum shop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Open air museum at S\u00e5gudden<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

S\u00e5gudden\u2019s Open Air Museum is located on Lake Kyrkviken’s beautiful beach. Here you can see historic buildings in idyllic surroundings and enjoy a ”fika” overlooking the lake, The paths are asphalted. Those who are not able to walk to the area are allowed to drive in through the entrance at Rv 175. The museum is not accessible for those with disabilities but there is an accessible WC in Schr\u00f6derstugan and in Caf\u00e9 Nystuga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a ramp in the entryway as well as plenty of room for wheelchairs on the first floor. There is however no room on the second floor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Arvika Town Park<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Town Park<\/a> is an oasis in central Arvika for both young and old with lovely flower beds, green areas and a playground. In 2019, Arvika Stadspark was named ”Park of the Year” in the national competition Elmia Park Inspira, and in 2015, Arvika Stadspark was named ”tourist destination of the year” in the category parks and gardens by the travel site turistmal.se. Here you can stroll around on flat gravel roads and there are many benches where you can take a rest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can discover Arvika by yourself or with a guideAt the Tourist Information Centre, there is a folder with a tour of Arvika which passes many interesting buildings and sights. The tour follows asphalted streets in the centre of the town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the summers you can explore Western V\u00e4rmland’s beautiful nature along with its rich flora and fauna with a guided moose safari. The tour takes you through Arvika woodlands in a Minibus for 4-8 people and and lasts about 3 hours. Booking is made at Arvika Tourist Information Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Glaskogen Nature Reserve<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Glaskogen is V\u00e4rmland’s biggest nature reserve with wild and beautiful nature. You can easily reach both the Information centre and Caf\u00e9 Carl by car. There is a ramp and an accessible WC in both locations. There is also a great trail that is suitable for people with wheelchairs that stretches from Caf\u00e9 Carl to L\u00e4skerud and is part of the Nature Trail vid Caf\u00e9 Carl<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you want to go fishing there is a handicap jetty at Lake R\u00e4mningstj\u00e4rn. Fishing cards are available to purchase at the information center in Lenungshammar or at the Tourist Information centre in Arvika or at www.ifiske.se. At \u00d6vre Gla, Buvattnet near Sigfridstorp in Glaskogens nature reserve, there are two easy accessible jetties. You need a fishing license from Glaskogen or \u00d6vre Gla, which can be bought at the information centre in Lenungshammar, at the Tourist information centre in Arvika or at www.ifiske.se<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bergs kl\u00e4tt<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bergs kl\u00e4tt Nature Reserve<\/a> is a very popular destination due to its beautiful nature overlooking Lake Glafsfjorden, and interesting culture and nature, which you can read about if you follow the nature and culture path. This nature reserve makes up the southern cape of the \u00c4lg\u00e5fjord. (The Northern part of Lake Glafsfjorden).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parts of the nature reserve are accessible by wheelchair and most of it has made adjustments for those with physical disabilities. Within the reserve, there are several marked paths, one of them is 1,2km long and the other is 3,4 km. The road leading up to the reserve has a steep hill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also a few other resting places, some have picnic tables, as well as two with wind shelters and fireplaces. There are 3 WC on the paths, on the nature and culture path as well as 2 located close to the parking spot as well as one at the end of the hiking trail.
