Fishing Associations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In Arvika there are over 20 fishing associations that allow you to fish in lakes, ponds, creeks or rivers of different sizes. There is plenty of fish as well, everything from perch to pike to herring or char.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are also a few ”Put-and-take”- waters to choose from where there is herring and rainbow fish. if you would like to try your luck in a couple of Arvikas lakes we recommend the municipality card. Click on the link below to learn about all of the fishing associations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of the association’s fishing cards can be purchased at Arvikas Tourist Center. We can also help you with maps and contact information for the associations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you would like to go fishing in Glaskogens Nature Reserve you will need a fishing card for the whole nature reserve. This card can be purchased at Arvikas Tourist Center, the Information point in Lenungshammar, or the petrol station in Glava.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Game fishing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the left collumn you’ll find all of the fishing association that allow game fishing and in the right collumn you’ll find areas where game fishing occurs naturally and sporadically. Fishing cards can be purchased at Arvika Tourist Center. Note that there are new guidelines set in place from May of 2022 which may imply changes to Put-and-take waters in the different associations. Contact the Tourist Center or the associations for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
