Take the Train to Eda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Traveling by train is a climate-smart option, and you can reach Eda by train. You can travel to Eda by train from both Stockholm and Oslo. You’ll take the main railway line passing through \u00c5motfors and Charlottenberg, but only V\u00e4rmlandstrafik’s<\/a> trains stop here. The nearest station is Arvika, from where there are train and bus connections to Eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The railway station in \u00c5motfors is located on J\u00e4rnv\u00e4gsgatan near the center and Eda Skans Museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The railway station and Travel Center in Charlottenberg are centrally located on Storgatan, about a 10-minute walk from Charlottenberg Shopping Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Take the Bus to Eda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You can travel to and within Eda by bus with V\u00e4rmlandstrafik<\/a>. There are bus connections between the towns of Charlottenberg, \u00c5motfors, and Koppom, as well as to H\u00e4ljeboda and Skillingsfors. There are also bus connections to Charlottenberg from Norway with Innlandstrafikk<\/a>. Buses stop at Charlottenberg Shopping Center and Charlottenberg Travel Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By Plane<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

From Charlottenberg, it’s about 100 km to Karlstad Airport<\/a> and 110 km to Oslo Airport Gardermoen<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

By Car<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Highway 61 runs through Eda, connecting Karlstad – Arvika to the Norwegian border, where it continues as National Road 2 in Norway. Highway 61 passes through both Charlottenberg and \u00c5motfors. Road 177 comes from \u00c5rj\u00e4ng and reaches Eda via Koppom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are plenty of free parking spaces in all town centers. The parking locations are marked on the Eda Visitor Map.<\/p>\n\n\n
