Valfj\u00e4llet Skicenter<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Valfj\u00e4llet offers perfect skiing for the whole family. When the entire slope is open, you’ll have access to five lifts, twelve runs, a Funpark with an Airbag and rails, as well as a Skicross course. If you’re a beginner, don’t worry\u2014skis are available for rent, and there are ski lessons to help you learn the basics before speeding down the slopes. You can stay comfortably in Dr\u00f6mbyn near the lifts. The villa caravans are 40 sqm, with three bedrooms\u2014two rooms with two single beds each and one room with a double bed. There’s also a bathroom with a shower and a living room with a fully equipped kitchen. The area also features a caravan campsite, Valfj\u00e4llskrogen restaurant, BBQ spots, and warming huts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cross-Country Skiing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When snow conditions and winter weather permit, there are several opportunities for cross-country skiing in Eda. Valfj\u00e4llet<\/a> sets up cross-country ski tracks towards Ki\u00f6l\u00e5sen Ski Stadium<\/a>. The most snow-sure area is at Sages\u00e4tra<\/a>, where you can enjoy flat cross-country trails over bogs and marshes. You can choose between 7 or 9 kilometers, with a natural stop at a shelter with BBQ facilities. For a shorter loop, you can choose a trail at Eda Golf Course Noresund at Sk\u00f6ttvika<\/a> in \u00c5motfors or in Tallmon<\/a>, Charlottenberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ice Fishing<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When the ice is at its strongest, there are great fishing opportunities throughout Eda. On Eda Fiske och Natur<\/a>, you can learn more about fishing waters and fishing permits. Each fishery association may have specific rules for ice fishing. The most common catches for ice fishing are perch and roach. For ice fishing with a rod, pike is the most common catch. Ice Skating<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ice skating on our beautiful lake ice is fantastic when the weather allows, but for safety, you can visit Gr\u00e4nshallen in Charlottenberg<\/a>. The ice rink is home to the Charlottenberg Hockey Club, but they also offer space for public skating with or without a stick. Public skating times are scheduled for one week at a time throughout the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bowling<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After a day on the ski slopes, it might be nice to do something different. A one-hour bowling session at Escape<\/a> in Charlottenberg could be a great option. It\u2019s fun for the whole family, and the youngest children can have bumpers on their lanes. After bowling, you can enjoy a delicious meal together at the restaurant. There’s also a casino, shuffleboard, pool, and arcade games available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fritidsbanken<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Fritidsbanken in Eda is located in \u00c5motfors. Here, you can borrow equipment for your winter activities completely free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
