Villa Fryksta <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Villa Fryksta Bed & Breakfast opened in 2020 but the house has a long history behind it and has been located at Nedre Fryken for almost 100 years. Now it has been renovated and turned into a modern bed & breakfast ready to receive guests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They offer their guests nice social areas both inside the house and outside on the grounds. In their basement you will find a relaxation area with sauna and hot tub, inside on the first floor there is a cosy lounge. Outside there is a large terrace with both evening sun and lake views. Could it get any better?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They have six individually decorated rooms, one of which is accessible and two rooms offer the opportunity to bring your four-legged pet. Villa Fryksta is run by Veronica and her dog Cindy, who are happy to have new playmates from time to time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children aged 0 – 3 years stay for free here and both the beach and the lawn are suitable for both play and adventure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kungskvarnen i Borgvik is a small family-run hotel consisting of the large mill building on the island in the middle of the Borgvik River. This mid-19th century brick building has some large charming double and family rooms and in some rooms pets are welcome. All have a bathroom with shower and free WiFi. A stone’s throw from the main building are two newly renovated wooden barns with twin rooms that have their own entrance and their own garden furniture on the grass outside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The breakfast buffet is served in Kungskvarnen’s restaurant and in summer you can enjoy it in the sunshine on the veranda by the river.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The area around Borgvik itself is very beautiful and peaceful with both greenery and rushing water. Here is the Sliperiet art centre with world-class art. It is close to both bathing places, hiking trails and fishing waters as well as rental of both canoe and kayak<\/p>\n\n\n\n

20 minutes from Karlstad and close to the centre of Kil, you can find a scenic and relaxing environment. Downright magically beautiful even. There, Apertins Hotell is nestled in deep greenery in a rural idyll dating back to the 17th century. Here you can definitely relax and unwind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And about 10 minutes from the hotel you can fish for salmon in the Klar\u00e4lven River and you can also reach 5 different golf courses within a maximum 30-minute drive from Apertin. If you want to visit Selma Lagerl\u00f6f’s home M\u00e5rbacka, it is within a 30-minute drive from the hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At this cosy country house hotel, all rooms have a desk, a flat-screen cable TV and a shared bathroom with a bath or shower. A private car park is available for a fee. There is a shared kitchen and a shared lounge, as well as free WiFi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here you can enjoy a delicious buffet breakfast or why not borrow their spacious kitchen to cook your own delicious dinner according to your own recipe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While you are in Segerstad, take the opportunity to explore the beautiful nature in the nearby archipelago, for example out at Arn\u00e4s cape. And you can also take a trip to cosy Borgvik with the art gallery Sliperiet and all the cultural relics. Or maybe visit V\u00e4rmskog’s caf\u00e9 to see if the famous prawn sandwiches really are as gigantic as they say?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sk\u00f6na Rum <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A stone’s throw from the centre of Kil, you’ll find Sk\u00f6na Rum, which offers bed & breakfast, hostel and conference facilities. Sk\u00f6na Rum is located in Fryksta, just north of Karlstad and is actually Sweden’s first railway station. If you are looking for peace and quiet close to nature, this is a good choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the historic main building there are 3 double rooms and a family room, two modernly equipped conference rooms in old cosy style. There is a shared shower, toilet and TV and free Wi-Fi in all rooms. Pets are not allowed here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, pets are very welcome in the hostel. There are 4 double rooms and 1 single room and a breakfast room and kitchen for self-catering. Two of the rooms, the entrance, toilet and shower are also accessible. There is also a shared shower, toilet and TV and free Wi-Fi in all rooms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the summer, there are opportunities for sunbathing and swimming and both jogging and hiking trails. They also have bikes for hire if you want to pedal around the surrounding area to find your favourite spot. There are also golf courses nearby and in winter a slalom slope nearby. In addition, there is the possibility of taking a car trip to Karlstad for shopping and culture to break away from the tranquility and nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It offers quiet accommodation by the Klar\u00e4lven River, with single, double and family rooms to choose from. You can pre-order breakfast and there is access to self-catering with laundry facilities. Bergsg\u00e5rden is located close to the Klar\u00e4lvsbanan, which is an approximately 90 km paved cycle and inline trail. It is also completely car-free so you can enjoy the ride and the beautiful surroundings. There is also the opportunity for exclusive salmon fishing in nearby Forshagaforsen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
