The old storehouse, used to keep corn for the poor, lies south of the churchyard. Nearby you can see the so called "Karl den XII-stone", as a memorial of a visit from King Karl XII. Not far from here you can see the Kyrkeby lake with its green water. This is a beautyspot.

Drive E18 towards Oslo. After Töcksfors turn right at sign " Östervallskog ". Continue about 10 km. The churchvillage lies next to the road.
