Welcome spring in Arvika

The days are getting brighter, the spring sun is making an appearance, and Easter is just around the corner. Here, we share some tips on how you can welcome spring and celebrate Easter in Arvika.

Excursions and experiences

Klässbols Linneväveri
Klässbols Linneväveri is a royal court supplier, weaving tablecloths and napkins by hand and machine for the Nobel banquet and Swedish embassies around the world. Follow the production process during a visit to the factory and shop for lovely textiles in the cosy store. Next to the linen weaving mill is Café Kvarnen, offering a cozy atmosphere in Klässbol’s old mill, which is open on weekends during the spring.
On the way from Arvika to Klässbol, you will also pass Schützers Tenn- och silversmide who creates jewellery and functional items in its open studio.

Arvika Fordonsmuseum
A visit to the Arvika Vehicle Museum is a museum experience like no other. Here, you’ll be fascinated by antique vintage cars, bicycles, motorcycles, rally cars, automotive history, and many fine details. Until the end of April, Arvika Fordonsmuseum is presenting an exhibition about camping life in the past. Travel back in time to holidays of bygone days, or discover what a camping vacation looked like “in the good old days.”

Arvika Town Park
Arvika Town Park is an oasis for both young and old all year round. After a long winter, it’s wonderful to relax in the first greenery of spring, enjoy a picnic with the family, spend time together in the lovely playground, try the outdoor gym, and watch the ducks in the pond. Take a leisurely stroll to Såguddens Friluftsmuseum by the shore of Kyrkviken, featuring around twenty historic buildings and another beautiful playground.
