To reach the Sea you have to pass the waterway from Säffle to Arvika byVikingaleden. From lake Vänern the waterway follows Byälven and the lock in Säffle, the lakes Harefjorden, Björnöfjorden and Glafsfjorden – a distance of 80 km or 43,2 NM.

Restaurants

In the harbour you will find two restaurants open in summer: – Olssons Brygga and BArBORD. At Olssons Brygga, several live concerts are held during the summer, and the area changes form to a nightclub during the late evening. Every August, Arvika Hamnfest is held here, which annually attracts over 20,000 music lovers.
