Billeruds Golf Club

Billerud Golf Club is beautifully located by Lake Ekholmssjön in Grums, just a stone’s throw from Lake Vänern. As the second oldest golf club in Värmland, it offers a course with roots dating back to 1964, continuously developed to provide a memorable golf experience. Here, every hole offers views of Lake Vänern – truly unique in Sweden.
The course has been modernised with new ditches, improved drainage and expanded lake-view areas. The club also features a golf shop, simulator and excellent practice facilities. You can even arrive by boat and moor directly at the club’s own jetty.
Valnäs Krog & Rum, the on-site restaurant, is located in the heart of the course and serves quality food in a scenic, nature-rich setting. Eda Golf Club
Golf with stunning views – a scenic experience not to be missed.
Eda Golf Club is located in western Värmland, just 20 kilometres from the Norwegian border. Set in a stunning natural environment, the course offers plenty of exercise and fresh air amid lakes, hills and forests. Noresund’s 18-hole course is situated on a peninsula in Lake Hugn, and often the scenery is so beautiful that you’ll want to pause between holes to take it all in.
The first nine holes were inaugurated on 26 June 1994 and form a narrow, hilly loop with a forested character. Holes ten to eighteen are more open and were inaugurated on 27 May 1992. Lake views can be enjoyed throughout the course.
The estate on the grounds, built in 1762, exudes a grand old-world charm. Together with the annexes and the oak avenue, it creates a cozy atmosphere amid the otherwise wild and beautiful nature. Since 2024, a nine-hole short course has been integrated into the main course for those wishing to challenge their short game. In recent years, the club has also upgraded and improved the course, practice area, outdoor restaurant terrace, and installed new restrooms, with more exciting projects on the way – stay tuned!

Kils Golf Club

Enjoy views over Lake Fryken from several holes, as well as from the clubhouse, where you can continue to savour a multi-award-winning lunch. If you need anything for your game or have questions, the club is staffed every day during the season in the reception and shop.

Kristinehamns Golf Club
Two loops with varied character in a beautiful setting – combining the joy of golf with genuine Värmland hospitality.
Since 1974, Kristinehamn Golf Club has offered a first-class golf experience in a scenic setting. The course opened as a 9-hole layout in 1978, inaugurated by Prince Bertil, and was expanded to 18 holes in 1990. The two loops have distinct characteristics, providing a varied and challenging round of golf.
With around 650 members and a warm welcome for guests, well-maintained fairways are combined with genuine Värmland hospitality. The club also collaborates with other nearby golf courses, offering even more playing opportunities.

Lundsbergs Golf Club

Lundsbergs Golf Club is an easily accessible golf facility for both members and guests. The goal is to provide players with an enjoyable experience and the opportunity to test their skills on the 9-hole course. The club aims to ensure that everyone – members and guests alike – feels welcome and wants to return. The course is beautifully located in eastern Värmland, between Lakes Matlången and Hållsjön in Storfors Municipality. With both woodland and parkland character, the course was designed by Ruzzo Reuss. The club uses a ball chute at the entrance to the clubhouse. Place a ball in the chute to mark your group’s place in the queue.

Saxå Golf Club
Play along the shores of Saxen in beautiful Bergslagen – a course with views from almost every hole and historic charm.
Along the sparkling waters of Lake Saxen, along Route 63 between Filipstad and Hällefors, lies Saxå Golf Course – a scenic gem in Bergslagen. The course, inaugurated in 1964 with the first nine holes designed by John Bäckman, was expanded to 18 holes in 1990 and has since been developed to offer an even better golf experience.
Through careful thinning of the forest, the views have been opened up – today you can enjoy the peaceful waters of Lake Saxen from almost every hole. Whether you are an experienced golfer or a beginner, the course offers beautiful surroundings and challenges for all skill levels.

Torsby Golf Club
An easy-to-play yet challenging 9-hole course in Fryksdalen – with ongoing improvements that continually enhance the golfing experience.
Torsby Golf Course, beautifully located in the scenic Fryksdalen, offers an inviting 9-hole parkland course with gently rolling terrain and an open layout. The course is ideal for intermediate golfers but is also appreciated by more experienced players. It provides challenges for all skill levels, while remaining forgiving and not unnecessarily complicating play. In recent years, the course has undergone careful improvements, and development continues to ensure an even better golfing experience. The 9-hole course is played as an 18-hole layout, with different tee positions and index for both rounds.

Uddeholms Golf Club
One of Värmland’s oldest golf clubs – a gem by Lake Råda.
Uddeholm Golf Club, one of Värmland’s oldest clubs, was founded in 1965 and is located in Hagfors Municipality. In 1974, it was completed as an 18-hole course, becoming the second club in Värmland to offer 18 holes.
The course is a pleasant parkland and woodland layout, beautifully situated along Lake Råda, with views of the lake from every hole. At Einar Restaurant, you can enjoy a snack during your 9-hole round or a delicious lunch afterwards – we recommend the popular Einar Burger.

Årjängs Golf Club
Play on Peter Nordwall’s well-designed course with expansive views over Lake Svensby – conveniently located near the E18 with everything you need on site.
Årjäng Golf Club’s 18-hole course, designed by Peter Nordwall, features generous greens, wide fairways, and gently rolling terrain with stunning views of Lake Svensby. Each hole has its own character, making the course both challenging and enjoyable for players of all skill levels.
The course is conveniently located by the E18, just 15 km east of Årjäng, with easy access from both Karlstad and Oslo. Adjacent to the reception, you’ll find newly renovated changing rooms, a golf shop, and a restaurant.
