In the 1940s, Bovil (Bo Vilsson) created a number of well-known cartoons, as well as book covers, postcards and posters. His home and studio have remained almost untouched to this day. The artist himself designed and decorated his house in Utterbyn and filled it with many illustrations, murals, paintings, carvings and sculptures. In the studio on the first floor, a large part of his drawings have been preserved.
Today, there is also a small shop with reprints of postcards and posters. In the basement, you can visit the Bovil art gallery which offers changing exhibitions.
Enjoy the wonderful view from the garden too, on the nearby lake, hills and forests.
