sights and activities
Experiencing Glaskogen in Western Värmland must be one of the high lights of the year if you like the outdoor life.
This is true whether you are a hiker, an avid fisherman, a canoeist or kayaker, or if you just like animals and nature. Not only is the area one of the most beautiful in Värmland with rich and varied animal and plant life - there are miles of hiking paths and canoeing routes for both long and short trips. Find your own peaceful lake for fishing or swimming. When it is time to set up camp after an eventful day, overnight cabins or shelters with grill sites await you. And there is no risk of overcrowding in the woods: the forest is 28,000 hectares large, with about 300 kilometres of hiking trails. If you want to experience the outdoor life, Glaskogen is the place for you!
