In the Glaskogen Nature Reserve there are several windshelters along the hiking- and canoepaths. When you purchase the Glaskogencard you are free to use the windshelters, firewood or any of the other facilities in the naturereserve. The card can be purchased amongst other places at Arvika Tourist Information Centre or at Glaskogens website. In the reserve there are also a few simpler cabins in which you can sleep on a bed of fir or wooden sleepingboards.
In Lenungshammar, the heart of Glaskogen, you'll find canoe-routes, a camping site, a convenient-store as well as canoe, bike and boatrentals.
A map over the area detailing the hikingtrails, canoeroutes, windshelters and more can be found in the Tourist information centres in Western Värmland, the Informationcentre in Lenungshammar, Din X-macken in Glava as well as at Glaskogens homepage.
