From June to August, you have the opportunity to experience a moose safari accompanied by a knowledgeable guide. This guided tour offers a unique chance to explore the beautiful natural landscapes of western Värmland, renowned for their rich wildlife, flora, and fauna.
The safari departs at the time of day when wildlife is most active, giving you the best possible chance of spotting moose and other animals. With a bit of luck, you may even catch sight of the rare white moose. Although an unusual sight, the white moose can be found here in western Värmland in relatively large numbers. Along the way, you may also encounter a variety of other Swedish wildlife and bird species.
The tour takes you through the forests surrounding Arvika in a minibus accommodating 4–8 passengers and lasts between two and three hours. During the excursion, there will be a stop where light refreshments are served.
