Carl Johan Damm, Painting, Exhibits His Works at Ärlandhallen
Carl Johan Damm: "Ever since my first encounter with the landscape around Lake Stora Gla, I have been captivated by its unique character. It felt like stepping into the outer Stockholm archipelago, with its bare rock formations and reedless waters—right in the middle of the forests of Värmland. The interplay of rock formations, trees, and water creates a constantly shifting sense of mystery. The same motif can be explored and varied endlessly, much like Monet’s cathedral paintings. My works are created in oil and acrylic on canvas, wood, and acrylic glass. I am a member of the Swedish Artists’ National Organization (KRO) and the Värmland Artists’ Association."
