Pia Bruer, Linus Nilsson, and Kornelia Engqvist present a ceramics exhibition at Ärlandhallen in Glava Glasbruk.
Three artists come together in a joint exhibition, all with strong ties to the forest—the forest where they work, live, and draw their inspiration. Their works are rooted in the forest as both a physical and symbolic place, while also moving beyond it.
Through different approaches, they explore sculptural forms and the boundaries between nature and culture. The exhibition is equally concerned with humanity, the physical body, and what unsettles or creates friction.
Linus Nilsson, raised in Klässbol, has extensive experience working with ceramics. Since 2019, he has led courses and workshops at, among others, Bildskolan Pilen in Arvika. His work is primarily sculptural and focused on earthenware.
Kornelia Engqvist, based in Värmland since 2018, works as an illustrator and visual artist. For this exhibition, she presents figurative ceramic sculptures.
Pia Bruer lives and works in Glava as an artist and art educator since 2022. In this exhibition, she shows printmaking and painted stoneware urns.
