About the Culture Summer Job:
The Culture Summer Job programme is part of Region Värmland's cultural development initiatives. It gives young people aged 16–19 the opportunity to explore a profession within various artistic fields under the guidance of professional practitioners.
The programme covers the fields of visual arts and design, dance, circus, film, crafts, literature, music, and theatre. Each placement has a clear artistic focus, with the young participants' active involvement in the creative process at its core.
About the instructor:
Linus Nilsson grew up in Klässbol and has extensive experience working with ceramics. Since 2019, he has led courses and workshops at, among other places, Bildskolan Pilen in Arvika. His artistic practice focuses primarily on sculptural work in earthenware clay.
The Culture Summer Job programme is part of the Municipality of Arvika's summer employment scheme and is carried out in collaboration with Bildskolan Pilen and Arvika Art Gallery, with support from Region Värmland.
