This summer, Rackstad Museum presents a vibrant exhibition featuring works by Kajsa Zetterquist in the East Gallery.
Kajsa Zetterquist was born in Arvika in 1936. She later studied at Konstfack (University of Arts, Crafts and Design), Signe Barth's School of Painting, and the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm. Her years of study included extensive travel throughout Europe, and she has been awarded a number of prestigious scholarships and grants.
Since the late 1960s, she has lived and worked on Saltfjellet in Northern Norway. Her artistic practice is rooted both in the forests of Värmland and the mountains of Northern Norway. Throughout her long career, Kajsa Zetterquist has worked consistently with an abstract visual language, inviting viewers to experience nature, light, movement, and rhythm through her art.
