It all began in 1985 as a jam session at a traditional folk music gathering in Vilhelmina. This was followed by a few occasional performances where, to the organisers’ surprise, the musicians refused to accept payment. Now Östen med Resten celebrates 40½ years, and their success continues.
On July 22, a welcome return awaits at Glashuset in Glava Glasbruk, where Östen med Resten will perform as part of their 2026 anniversary tour.
