Segerfors Kvarn in Rackstad opens its doors for a long weekend filled with activities for the whole family.
The Mill Trail (Kvarnstigen) is inaugurated, and during the days there will be live music performances, circus play for children, walks along the Viksälven River, and a café serving homemade baked goods.
Step inside the well-preserved mill and experience the summer exhibition, where around ten exhibitors show and sell jewellery, ceramics, knitted works, and paintings. You will also find locally produced goods such as honey, eggs, and calendula ointment. In the mill’s small painting workshop, children can create their own artworks and display them inside the mill. In the mill pond you can see the artwork Fiskstim, created in 2023.
Or take a walk along the scenic mill trail that follows the Viksälven River. You might spot a grey wagtail or find iron slag from the old bar iron forge.
