The Häggvik Oak
The Häggvik Oak is an impressive and historic tree standing proudly on the shores of Lake Vänern. More than 500 years old, this majestic oak is a living monument to the power of nature and the passage of time. What makes it particularly remarkable is that it is completely hollow, with a small natural chamber inside that visitors can actually step into and explore. A perfect stop for nature lovers and anyone looking to experience something truly unique in the heart of the Värmland countryside.

Mickelsön Beach
On the western side of the bridge lies Mickelsön, a natural gem featuring open meadows, leafy groves and scenic walking trails. During summer, it is a popular spot for swimming and relaxing by the water. In winter, when the lake freezes over, visitors can enjoy ice skating in a beautiful natural setting.
