Emergency Preparedness Monday, 2.00–5.00 pm in the town centre, on the green space by Tallåsvägen and Kyrkogatan, next to the basketball court.
Activities include:
The Exitainer – an interactive container where you can put your household preparedness skills to the test through practical emergency scenarios.
Face painting, games and crafts.
Representatives from the Rescue Service, the Swedish Civil Defence Association and the Energy and Climate Advisory Service will be on hand to answer your questions.
A quiz trail with great prizes for both children and adults.
Guided tour of the civil defence shelter at the healthcare centre, Tallåsvägen 6 (entrance via the southern car park).

Pick up a water container and a copy of the “7 Days” preparedness leaflet at the municipality’s stand.
Sweet scramble at 4.45 pm by Munkfors Municipality’s stand, sponsored by Coop Munkfors.

Come to Forsnäsbadet, 4.00–8.00 pm, and try throwing a lifebuoy, practise lifesaving in the water and take on a 200-metre swim.
Admission is free and no advance registration is required – just come along at a time that suits you.
Please note: The swimming pool is reserved exclusively for this event.

An emergency preparedness display will be available at the library throughout the week. Pick up a copy of the “7 Days” leaflet and see an example of a fully stocked household emergency kit.
