This stopover is intended as a free parking area for motorhomes and caravans for short-term overnight stays, without service facilities.
There is no access to electricity, water, or waste disposal for grey water or sewage. A dry toilet is available during the summer season at the Klarälvsbanan rest area, approximately 100 metres from the site.
Visitors are asked to show consideration and follow the The Swedish Civil Defence and Resilience Agency’s recommended safety distance between camping vehicles, which should be at least four metres. More information can be found in the leaflet Tips and advice for camping guests.
Latrine emptying is available at the rest area by road 62 in Ransäter. Grey water disposal is not provided.
Additional services such as fresh water and waste disposal are available to guests at Ransäters Hembygdsgård and Storängens Camping in Ransäter.
Fresh water is also available at Frendo Munkfors, just south of Munkfors town centre.
About the area
