In a preserved environment at the old mill park in Munkfors you can visit the comedian and actor Fridolf Rhudin's (1895-1935) museum. The exhibition is about his life and career.
Owe "Clapson" Carlsson, guide and owner, imitates Fridolf Rhudin perfectly. He tells stories, plays guitar and sings.
One room is dedicated to "Olle in Skratthult" (Hjalmar Pettersson1886-1960), also from Munkfors, who became Swedens-America's foremost entertainer.
Another big artist of today is Bosse Parnevik, who of course also is represented in the museum.
Svenska Bondkomikfestivalen (the Swedish Folk Comedy Festival) is held every year and is a tribute to all artists through the years who have amused and made people laugh. It´s an event with performances, a small market and evening cabaret. A Fridolf Rhudin-award is also handed out during the cabaret.
