The sauna raft Mysingen is moored at its own pier facing west. On the raft, there is a saunahut with a wood-fired sauna, a hot tub, and a barbecue hut with a kitchenette for simple cooking. You can rent Mysingen either just for sauna bathing and access to the grill hut, or you can rent the whole raft. If you don't want to cook yourself, book a sauna supper that you pick up at Lurö Gästhärbärge & Krog. Perfect after you have saunated and bathed, both thirsty and tired.
Lurö is an island in central Vänern and is part of the Lurö archipelago. The Vänern archipelago is Europe's largest lake archipelago, and Lurö lies on the border between Dalbosjön in the west and Värmlandsjön in the east. At Stenstaka there is a guest hostel, a tavern and a guest harbour. The Lurö boat stops here to drop off visitors, after which the boat leaves for the departure pier in Basteviken.
