Åkershus is located at the far end of Värmlandsnäs, Ekenäs. You can get to Åkershus beach either by a hiking trail or by car. The hiking trail starts from Ekenäs guest harbor and ends at Åkershus beach. The trail is a nice option for those eager to swim who do not want to walk on the road, or for those who just want to take a shorter walk. A map of Ekenäs is available for download.
