The park surrounds Torsby Herrgård and features spacious lawns, mature trees, shrubs, and walking paths. Behind the manor house, the lawn slopes down towards Röjdån, where there is also a small jetty by the water.
The park is home to Torsby Fordonsmuseum, and you'll also find the Herrgårdshöjden walking trail here. The approximately 10-kilometre Siristigen trail, which runs between central Torsby and Sahlströmsgården in Utterbyn, starts in Herrgårdsparken.
Events and music
Herrgårdsparken is a popular venue for events and activities throughout the year, from concerts and festivals to family activities and other events. The local music association Ge&Hör has its premises in Stallet and Rännet, two of the area's historic outbuildings, where the association organises concerts and supports the local music scene.
Walk from the town centre
Herrgårdsparken is an easy walk from central Torsby. During the summer, the bridge across the dam between the town centre and the park is open. Musikbron is open all year round and connects Östmarksvägen with Herrgårdsparken – a pedestrian bridge where music and lighting become part of the experience.
