Liljedal Guest Harbour is located in a sheltered bay of Lake Vänern, Kyrkebysjön. Here you will find a small and welcoming harbour close to nature, swimming, culture and restaurants.
In the harbour, you can moor at the guest jetty or at one of the mooring buoys. The guest harbour accommodates boats of different sizes and is also a convenient stop for visitors travelling by motorhome or caravan.
Liljedal combines the tranquillity of a small village with a lively harbour area. Restaurants, cafés and several attractions are all within easy reach.
By the harbour, you will find Liljedals Beach Club, where you can enjoy a meal with views over Lake Vänern. The area also has Glassbruket, an ice cream café, and the local heritage centre's waffle café. Take a stroll through Liljedal and discover the historic industrial buildings that tell the story of the village's past.
For those interested in culture and history, the Glassworks Museum is well worth a visit. Here you can learn more about Liljedal's history as an industrial community and Värmland's rich glassmaking and craft traditions.
The harbour is a great starting point for exploring the surrounding nature, either on foot or from the water. Buda bathing area is approximately 1.3 kilometres from the harbour and is the starting point for, among other trails, the Kycklingleden hiking trail.
Kycklingleden is a quality-marked Värmland Trail that winds through Kycklingdalen and follows parts of the Lake Vänern shoreline. Along the trail, you will find rocky shores, picnic spots and opportunities for swimming and fishing. There are also beautiful views of the surrounding landscape and Lake Vänern along the way.
You can also explore the archipelago from the water by kayak or SUP.
Liljedal Guest Harbour has a service facility with toilets, showers and dishwashing facilities. Fresh water, a boat launch ramp and a waste tank emptying facility for boats are also available.
There are five motorhome pitches, three with electricity and two without. The service facility is open from 30 April to 4 October 2026.
