Silverleden – a trail through the history of Värmskog
Silverleden is an approximately 8.6-kilometre hiking trail through the scenic landscape of Värmskog. The trail is relatively easy and is ideal for anyone who wants to combine exercise and nature experiences with the history of the area.
The trail passes both the Lars Magnus Ericsson Memorial Farm, home to a telephone museum, and Vegerbol Silver Mine, where you can see mine shafts and remnants of the former mine manager’s garden.
Along the trail, you can also discover the area’s flora and fauna.
