Liljenäs farm at Segerstad outside Karlstad has a long history that stretches back in time all the way to 1798. For the past three years, the Kylin family has been living there together with their animals. A wonderful place in constant development where sustainability and the environment are in focus and permeate all activities. Right now, there is both a mushroom farm, a hairdressing salon, an ice cream and waffle café and a farm shop.
New for 2026 – Liljenäs Gård Art Centre + Galleri Bergman
In June 2026, Liljenäs Gård will open its newly renovated barn, which has been converted into an art centre over the winter.
Come and visit them this summer to experience beautiful works of art, enjoy a delicious ice cream, browse the farm shop and soak up the peaceful countryside atmosphere.
The aim of the project has been to develop and expand the activities at Liljenäs Gård, as well as to make art and culture more accessible in rural areas. The initiative has involved converting an existing barn into an art exhibition hall.

Another new feature for 2026 is that you can now book their newly renovated Magasin as accomodation.
