Picassos Veranda
Picassos Veranda is located by the Picasso sculpture in Kristinehamn’s archipelago, with a beautiful view of Lake Vänern. This café and bistro is a popular stop for visitors, art lovers and locals alike. In the same space, you’ll also find a small summer shop with carefully selected products.
Food and treats
The menu offers a variety of dishes depending on the season. Prawn sandwiches are made with hand-peeled prawns from Lillängshamnen, and you’ll also find Caesar salads, baguettes, soups and light lunches. Vegetarian and vegan options are available for both meals and fika.
The café serves homemade cakes, chocolate cake, pastries and creamy gelato from Lejonet & Björnen – a favourite among children and adults alike.
Drinks and seating
Picassos Veranda is fully licensed and offers beer, wine and sparkling drinks. There is seating both indoors and on the large outdoor terrace overlooking the lake. The café is child-friendly, dogs are welcome outside, and takeaway is available.
Gift shop
The small shop is open daily in summer and offers selected home décor, clothes and gifts from Scandinavian brands such as Bruka Design, Strömshaga and IB Laursen. Each product is chosen with care and quality in mind.
Events and catering
You can book the entire restaurant for private events such as weddings, birthdays or corporate dinners. Menu and service can be tailored to your needs, and support with staff, tableware and setup is available.

Bus groups
