Boat 96 starts touring on June 26. See you on board soon!
Take Boat 96 from the campsite First Camp Herrgårdsliv and from the pier Vålösundsbryggan to the islands of Alvön and Långön. The boat operates friday to sunday for four weeks after Midsummer. See the timetable further down the page.
On the sun-soaked islands of Långön and Alvön, you can easily find your own spot on the rocks. Bring a picnic basket and enjoy the stunning views of Lake Vänern, the gentle waves, and the sun-warmed cliffs. Learn more about the islands here.
Note: Please make sure to arrive a few minutes before departure. Tickets cannot be booked in advance, so boarding is drop-in, first come, first served

You can purchase tickets in following ways:
Purchase your ticket when boarding, using a credit card or travel funds
Purchase your ticket in the "Värmlandstrafik" app
Good to know
First Camp Herrgårdsliv is located at Presterudsallén 2.
Vålösundsbryggan is located across from Café Pärlan (Vålösundsvägen 156).
Boat traffic in Kristinehamn is operated by Värmlandstrafik.
The journey to Alvön and Långön takes about an hour.
The boat Lilla Strömmen operates on line 96 and has a total of 48 seats.
Dogs are allowed, subject to availability.
In the Kristinehamn archipelago, you can also take Boat 97, which goes to Vålön.
Traffic disruptions
In case of high waves, strong winds, thunderstorms, or other severe weather, the boat may be canceled.

Take the bus to the boat
Several departures of Boat 96 are coordinated with the bus timetable. Bus 3 departs from Kristinehamn city center (including Resecentrum and Tegelslagaregatan) towards Picassoskulpturen. Get off Bus 3 at the Kristinehamn Presterud or Vålösundsbryggan bus stop. The bus ticket is also valid on the boats, as long as you make a continuous journey.
