Season 2026
Take Boat Bus 97 from Vålösundsbryggan Pier to Vålön in the Kristinehamn archipelago. The boat runs daily after Midsummer (June 22) until August 9. After that, it also operates on the following two weekends: August 15–16 and August 22–23.
About Vålön
Vålön is known as a paradise for families with children, thanks to its shallow sandy beaches at Sandvikarna and a fun playground in the sand. This is also where the Hiking Värmland trail “Tre Öars Led” (Three Islands Trail) begins, taking you across footbridges between Vålön, Kalvön, and Sibberön. Read more about the islands here. The trip to Vålön takes approximately 10 minutes
The boat “Stöten” has a total capacity of 25 passengers

Service disruptions

Park your car
Park your car free of charge in the large car park at the end of Skulpturvägen. From there, it is just a short walk of a few hundred metres past the Church’s summer retreat, home to the Skärgårdskapellet and Café Pärlan, to Vålösundsbryggan.
