Fishing areas in Lundsberg
Lundsbergs Fiskevårdsförening manages a large fishing area between Kristinehamn and Storfors. The region offers a chain of lakes, rivers and streams in beautiful nature – ideal for peaceful freshwater fishing.
The fishing area includes: N Ämten, S Ämten, Björkåssjön, Acktjärn, Hållsjön, Matlången, Sävsjön, Bosjön, Grytingen, Bastfoten, Lindåstjärn, Bergtjärn, Starrtjärn, Abborrtjärn, Gäddtjärn and Puktjärn. These waters are naturally connected and form a varied and living ecosystem, based on spring-fed lakes.
Fishing permits
You need a valid fishing permit for all lakes. You can buy it in Kristinehamn at:
There are day permits, week permits and year permits (valid for the whole family). Children under 16 fish for free together with an adult.
Fish species and rules
You can fish for zander (gös), pike, perch and whitefish.
Between 15 May and 15 June, fishing for zander is not allowed. Any caught zander must be released immediately.

Tips and respect
There are few official boat ramps, but it’s usually possible to launch a small boat. Trolling is allowed (max two rods per boat). Please release large fish to support future fish populations. Always respect nature, animals and other visitors.
