Fishing areas in Lungsund
Lungsund Fiskevårdsområde is located on the border between Kristinehamn and Storfors and includes several lakes and rivers open for fishing with a valid permit.
The fishing area includes: Storlungen, Lillungen, Öjevettern, Bjurbäcksälven, Bjurbäckskanalen, Lungälven and Bogåstjärn.
Fishing permits
A fishing permit is required for all waters. You can buy it at:
🎫 Fishing licenses are available as day permit, week permit, year permit, and a joint fishing license for the Bergslagen Canal (week permit). Children under 16 years fish for free.
Fish species and rules
You can fish for pike, zander (gös) and perch.
Rules include:
Minimum size for zander is 45 cm
Trolling is allowed, with up to four lures per boat
Allowed gear: rod fishing (spinning, fly fishing, ice fishing), angling devices and baitfish traps
A valid fishing permit must be carried and shown on request
