“Kristinehamn is the city for you with a motorhome or caravan, whether you come alone or host a larger gathering.”
-Lasse Lindström, Vice Chairman of the Caravan Club of Sweden.

Many opportunities for those interested in campers
In Kristinehamn, there are six camper van sites/campsites, three companies selling vehicles, and four companies providing service/repair. So there are many opportunities for those interested in caravans and camper vans here.
For those of you travelling with childern First Camp Herrgårdsliv and Revsand are family-friendly options. At the four-star First camp Herrgårdsliv, you’ll find playgrounds, adventure golf, swimming, and during the summer, “The Moose Jojo” entertains the kids in the Kids Club.
Revsand offers a basic standard and a more relaxed pace, but the shallow, beautiful sandy beach and nearby jumping pillow keep the children entertained all day while you can enjoy the stunning view of Lake Vänern’s horizon.
No matter where you choose to stay, you’re never far from nature with water, the archipelago, and forest and the small-town life that Kristinehamn offers. If you live centrally, you can stroll along the beach promenade to one of the world’s biggest Picasso sculptures, do some shopping or visit some flea markets.
Here is it easy to find hiking with a view of Lake Vänern. Walk along Sannaleden between First Camp Herrgårdsliv and Kristinehamn Arena, hike Jacqueline’s nature trail close to the Picasso sculpture, or for the open magical Vänern horizon hike on Dyrön, located 30 km south of Kristinehamn. During the summer, you can take the boat bus and hike on the certified Hiking Värmland path Tre öars led between the three islands Vålön, Kalvön, and Sibberön. If the boat busses aren’t running rent a kayak or a motor boat. Have you brought your bikes try a part of Vänerleden or a Biking Värmland MBT-trail. If the weather isn’t at its best, you can entertain the kids with indoor activities such as: Lek & Luft (indoor play center) + swimming pool, a movie at Värmland’s coziest and most charming cinema, or arts and crafts in the “Konstasken” at the art museum.
